Great day at one of their cooking classes in the design building learning biscuit making with tomato and peach jams. I could not imagine having to make those consistent flavors across all 9 locations. Our chef Susan instructor was eminently polite and knowledgeable. It was an all around education in making great biscuits and marveling at Jo-Jo's business acumen. I realize I could never pass the "mom test" to become a baker there -- but I guess that's the point.
The best rice Krispy I've had! The BLTs were fresh as well. Definitely recommend! We just did the kiosk so I didn't really interact with any staff. The one we did try to ask a question to, didn't speak English I don't think. The cafe was cute as well.
Food: The cauliflower melt was soooo good and filling! I recall having it a few years ago in college, but it tasted even better after reuniting with it. Literally melt in my mouth! Service: I ordered online so the food was ready by the time I got there (through the app). Ambiance: Super busy on a Sunday afternoon with families lol, but they offer outdoor seating as well. It felt SO good to reunite with Flour!
Great breakfast spot - lots of menu options for different levels of hungriness and taste buds, solid coffee, and many fresh pastries. The ordering process is very simple and quick with the touchscreen right at the entrance. I got an avocado toast which was done fast and tasted fresh. It's decent size and comes with an egg and peppers - yum! It wasn't that expensive either. Definitely recommend!
I flew five in half hours to partake in this culinary experience and it was worth every calorie! I was there for the annual PEGS conference at the Boston convention center and this gem showed up on my Yelp search for close coffee shops. Executive summary: Service:5/5-when I did interact with the staff they were nice and helpful. Depth of the menu:5/5 Flavor:5/5 Good for groups: 3/5-made for to-go work This coffee shop unlocks the door to flavor town in two prongs. Delicious coffee and tasty pastries! When will I return to this flavor town hideaway coffee shop, not soon enough!
If you are in the Boston area you have to stop by this bakery. I was looking for a good coffee and found this place on Yelp. So I knew I needed to stop by and it didn't disappoint. It was so tasty I told some friends about the bakery and then we went back around lunch for them to give it a try. Trust me give this place a try if you're in town.
It's so cute in here! I tried the housemade rhubarb seltzer and loved it. I liked being able to order on the kiosks. I was bummed that my first drink choice was out of stock, but the seltzer was fantastic so I'm not complaining!
Only giving 4 stars because they don't offer their famous sticky bun at this location and that was the primary reason we came to this spot. We did end up ordering the Boston cream pie which carried that "I've been sitting in the refrigerator for a couple of days" taste and did not seem to be house-made. As for the drinks--we loved our hot drip coffee and you can't go wrong with their iced matcha latte (vanilla syrup and oat milk for me please!). Oat milk is an extra $0.75 but flavored syrup is included. We stan Flour for being both woman- and Asian-owned and for their typically carefully curated delicious baked goods, sandwiches, and drinky drinks. However, this location was slightly disappointing for food! Service was great and we were able to find a seat on a chilly Saturday. You can either order on the convenient kiosks or in person at the register--and don't forget to bus your own plates!
Came here for breakfast and it was packed. Got a coffee (okay coffee) and a raspberry seltzer. The raspberry seltzer was very good but a little on the sweet side. Banana bread - a little more heavy and dense than I expected. I liked the banana intensity but it was a bit sweet. Lamb panini - the braised lamb was very tender and did not taste gamey. I'm not a huge feta fan but the creamy feta tzatziki was very good. I also got a little bit of spice from the banana pepper jam. This panini is a must get!
